Post Graduate Program in Power Management

The global power sector is undergoing major transformation due to the increasing focus on renewable energy sources. This is mainly driven by the need to reduce carbon emissions and to meet the Paris Agreement goals. India has also set a target of achieving 40 per cent of its electricity generation from non-fossil fuel sources by 2030. These targets are expected to be achieved through a combination of large scale solar and wind projects, rooftop solar and other renewable sources. PGP in Power Management is meant to provide an understanding of power generation, transmission, and distribution, besides knowledge of automation, control systems, project management and planning skills.
